Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ:RJET) today announced that Don
Osmundson has been appointed to the position of vice president of Flight
Operations and Kathy Wooldridge has been named vice president of Human
Resources for the Company. Also, Daniel Shurz and Greg Aretakis received
executive appointments. Shurz was named vice president of Planning and
Strategy and Aretakis was named vice president of Revenue Production for
Republic’s branded airline operations, which include recently acquired
Frontier Airlines, Lynx Aviation and Midwest Airlines.
Don Osmundson, an experienced airline executive, joined the Company in
July 2009 as director of Flight Operations. He began his aviation career
as a pilot with Frontier Airlines and was later vice president of Flight
Operations at Continental Airlines, Comair and DayJet. He is a graduate
of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and earned a master’s degree in
Business at the University of Phoenix. He reports to Wayne Heller, the
Company’s executive vice president and COO.

Kathy Wooldridge joined the Company in 1998 and has been the director of
Human Resources for the past six years. A veteran of the airline
industry, Wooldridge held positions at Jetstream International Airlines
and ATA prior to joining Republic. She attended Big Bend Community
College in Moses Lake, Wash. She reports to Hal Cooper, Republic’s
executive vice president and CFO.

With the appointments, which are effective immediately, Osmundson’s and
Wooldridge’s areas of responsibility will encompass Republic Airways
Holdings, including its recently acquired subsidiaries Frontier
Airlines, Lynx Aviation and Midwest Airlines.
As vice president of Planning and Strategy for the branded airlines of
Republic Airways Holdings, Shurz has responsibility for planning,
scheduling and codeshare alliances for both Frontier Airlines and
Midwest Airlines. He reports to Republic’s executive vice president and
chief marketing officer Sean Menke.
Prior to moving to Frontier Airlines as vice president of Planning and
Strategy in June of 2009, Shurz was vice president, Network Planning for
Air Canada. He also has held a number of other senior-level positions in
the transportation industry, including with the Chicago Transit
Authority and United Airlines.
In his role as vice president of Revenue Production for Republic’s
branded operations, Aretakis’ duties include pricing, revenue
management, sales and distribution for Republic’s branded carriers. He
also reports to Republic’s Menke.
Formerly Midwest Airlines' vice president of Planning and Revenue
Management, Aretakis is a 31-year airline veteran. He has served in
marketing- and revenue-related senior management positions at several
airlines, including a stint from January 2003 to April 2005 as vice
president of Revenue Management with Frontier.

schedules, routes, pricing and distribution within our branded

and increase operational efficiencies while at the same time reducing
