|Republic Airways Reports June 2011 Traffic|
INDIANAPOLIS, Jul 05, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for June 2011. The Company generated 1.9 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 3% decrease from the same month last year, while capacity remained unchanged at 2.3 billion available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours were 81,827 in June 2011, a decrease of 2% from June 2010. Consolidated load factor was 84% versus 86% in June 2010. Nearly 2.9 million passengers were carried during the month, a 4% reduction from the same month last year.
Republic Airways Holdings, based in Indianapolis, Indiana is an airline holding company that owns Chautauqua Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Republic Airlines and Shuttle America, collectively "the airlines."
