| Republic Airways Reports a 12% Increase in July 2008 Traffic |
INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 4, 2008--Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ:RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for July 2008. The company generated 892.7 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 12.3% increase over the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 16.4% to 1.15 billion. Block hours were 64,946 in July 2008, a 11.6% increase over July 2007. Load factor was 77.4% versus 80.3% in July 2007. A total of 1,755,636 passengers were carried during the month, a 17.1% increase over the same month last year.
