Republic Airways Reports a 40% Increase in February 2008 Traffic
INDIANAPOLIS, Mar 04, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for February 2008. The company generated 712.7 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 39.7% increase over the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 37.9% to 1.0 billion. Block hours were 60,136 in February 2008, a 31.3% increase over February 2007. Load factor was 70.0% versus 69.1% in February 2007. A total of 1,389,943 passengers were carried during the month, a 43.3% increase over the same month last year.
