FAIRFAX, Va., Jun 21, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT), a
leading provider of innovative technologies and solutions focused on
mission-critical national security programs for the Intelligence
Community; the Departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security, and
Justice; the Space Community; and other U.S. federal government
customers, announced today that it was named to the Business 2.0
magazine list of the "100 Fastest Growing Technology Companies."
ManTech was ranked number 64 and cited for "having an edge in
bidding on government intelligence contracts" and a three-year
annualized growth rate of 25 percent; three-year annualized cash flow
growth of 105 percent; and a one-year stock return of 17 percent.
The magazine compiled their Top 100 list after screening a
universe of more than 2,000 technology companies that have been
publicly traded on a U.S. stock exchange for at least three years,
have a market capitalization of at least $50 million, and have had
positive operating cash flow over the past 12 months. Zacks Investment
Research of Chicago ranked the list of 100 companies based on four
financial criteria: growth in revenue, profit and operating cash flow
during the past three years, and the 12 month stock return as of Dec.
31, 2005.
Business 2.0 magazine, published by Time Inc., has over 2.7
million readers.
ManTech has been recognized by many other sources for its fast
growth and success. Last year Red Herring magazine named ManTech to
its Small Cap 100 Company list for demonstrating "innovative
technology and smart business models that nurture growth and
profitability." In 2004, Business Week magazine selected ManTech as
one of its Top 100 Hot Growth Companies; and also that year,
VARBusiness magazine chose ManTech as one of its Top 50
Fastest-Growing Solution Providers.
