Biography

Jim Wade Past President, Advance Auto Parts On September 13, 2011, Mr. Wade appointed to the Board of Directors. Mr. Wade was appointed President on January 26, 2009. Prior to that he served as Advance’s Executive Vice President, Customer Development Officer – Commercial since February 2008. He joined us in February 1994 and has held multiple other senior leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer. He has played integral roles in a number of acquisitions that have helped Advance to become a leader in the automotive aftermarket including Western Auto Supply Company/Parts America, Discount Auto Parts and Autopart International. Mr. Wade was Vice President, Finance and Operations, for S.H. Heironimus, a regional department store company. Mr. Wade is a certified public accountant.
