Biography

Charles Tyson Executive Vice President, Merchandising, Marketing and Supply Chain Mr. Tyson, Executive Vice President, Merchandising, Marketing and Supply Chain, joined Advance in March 2008. Prior to joining Advance, Mr. Tyson served as Senior Vice President, Merchandising and Technology with OfficeMax, Inc. for three years. Prior to joining OfficeMax, Mr. Tyson was President of Diversitech Group, an importer of hand and power tools. Prior to that, he worked for Office Depot, Inc. for four years where he held multiple positions with increasing responsibilities including Senior Vice President, Merchandising and General Merchandising Manager; Senior Vice President, World Wide Global Sourcing; and Vice President, Divisional Merchandise Manager. Mr. Tyson has also held positions previously with Caldor Corporation and Macy's.
