Mr. Young manages and oversees all day-to-day operations within TeleCommunication Systems (TCS). As the company has grown, he has been directly involved in the numerous acquisitions TCS has made since going public in 2000. He is dedicated to customer satisfaction and drives that philosophy throughout the organization.
Mr. Young joined TCS in 1992. He has extensive expertise in technology management, with in-depth technical experience in hardware and software life cycle program management. Prior to TCS, Mr. Young worked for ICF Information Technology, Inc. where he was responsible for managing the design and development of applications to customer specifications. He completed a twenty-year career in the US Navy as the Director of the Information Systems Department of the Navy Recruiting Command where he was responsible for the information management requirements of the nationwide recruiting force.
Mr. Young holds a bachelor of science degree in engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master of science degree in information technology from the Naval Postgraduate School.
