MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 3, 2004--I-many, the leading
provider of advanced business solutions for managing corporate
commitments, announced at its annual user conference a partnership
with EPAM Systems. EPAM is the leading software services provider with
advanced development centers in Eastern Europe -- providing services
for "Certified for NetWeaver(TM)" and "Powered by NetWeaver(TM)"
statuses.
Over 280 global corporations use I-many solutions to
comprehensively manage any type of commitment from contracts and
obligations to payments and collections. I-many has significant
experience with successful SAP integrations into its product lines but
intends to more tightly align to SAP's NetWeaver capabilities.
"Because the majority of I-many's current customers utilize SAP,
it is critical that our solutions integrate as deeply as possible with
SAP," stated Leonard Rainow, Senior Vice President of Products and
Chief Technology Officer for I-many. "This commitment will ensure that
I-many customers will realize even simpler integration, greater
flexibility to run their business and allow them to better align IT
resources to recognize the full benefits of I-many solutions working
in conjunction with SAP."
To officially certify integration with its products, I-many is
addressing two SAP NetWeaver(TM) programs. "Certified for SAP
NetWeaver(TM)" is awarded to products that feature integration with an
SAP NetWeaver component and enhance SAP NetWeaver functionality.
"Powered by SAP NetWeaver(TM)" status requires a more demanding
certification and is for applications that additionally enable
convenient deployment of Java or ABAP applications on SAP Web
Application Server.
"I-many has chosen EPAM Systems for this project based on EPAM's
300,000 + hours of experience in delivering NetWeaver and related
technologies," commented Terry Nicholson, Chief Operating Officer of
I-many. "EPAM, an official SAP technology and service partner, has
been closely collaborating with SAP for over seven years, with the
main focus on NetWeaver(TM) and xApps(TM) development over the last
two years.
"EPAM recognizes I-many's leadership and vision, particularly in
aggressively pursuing the deeper 'Powered by NetWeaver'
certification," acknowledged Arkadiy Dobkin, Chief Executive Officer
of EPAM. "We look forward to working with I-many's internal
architecture and development team to further develop I-many's
solutions in this area."
