President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Busch has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer since August 2011. Mr. Busch served from October 2006 to August 2011 in senior leadership positions at Mindspeed Technologies, a leading supplier of semiconductor solutions for network infrastructure applications (“Mindspeed”). From November 2007 to August 2011, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Mindspeed’s high performance analog division and from October 2006 to November 2007 he served as Vice President of Marketing and Applications. Since 1990, Mr. Busch has worked in the networking communications industry. His experience also includes business development roles at Analog Devices as well as roles in engineering, sales, marketing and general management at Digital Equipment Corporation, Intel and two start-ups. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical and computer engineering and a Bachelor of Science Degree in biological science from the University of California at Irvine. Mr. Busch received his M.B.A. from Santa Clara University in 1998.
Chief Financial Officer
Jeremy Whitaker has served as our Chief Financial Officer and Secretary since September 2011. Mr. Whitaker returned to Lantronix after serving briefly as Vice President, Corporate Controller at Mindspeed from January 2011 to September 2011. Prior to Mindspeed, Mr. Whitaker served as Vice President of Finance and Accounting for Lantronix from September 2010 to January 2011, where he was responsible for managing all worldwide finance and accounting functions. Mr. Whitaker also served as Lantronix’ Sr. Director of Finance and Accounting from February 2006 to September 2010 and its Director of Finance and Accounting from August 2005 to February 2006. Prior to August 2005, Mr. Whitaker held vice president and director level finance and accounting positions with two publicly-traded companies. Prior to that, Mr. Whitaker served as an Audit Manager during his six years at Ernst & Young LLP. Mr. Whitaker earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from California State University Fullerton and a master’s degree in accountancy, from University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business.
Vice President of Engineering
Daryl R. Miller joined Lantronix in January 2000 as the Senior Director of Engineering. He has been instrumental in development of Lantronix’ most innovative and profitable solutions and currently has three patents pending in the areas of wired and wireless networking and software technology.
With more than 30 years of experience in embedded systems, software, engineering tools, computer graphics and networking, he has authored many articles which have been published in trade publications around the world and has been a speaker at the Embedded Systems Conferences and other industry trade shows.
Prior to Lantronix, Mr. Miller spent 14 years at Tektronix and held several roles with the Microprocessor Design and Networked Displays divisions and was National Manager of Applications Engineering when the division was sold to Network Computing Devices (NCD). With NCD, he was the Worldwide Director of Service and Support and successfully managed a multi-million dollar contracts and custom engineering business. Mr. Miller also owned his own business for several years providing embedded hardware and software development for the medical and entertainment industries.
Mr. Miller holds a Bachelor of Science degree and graduated with honors.
Vice President, Human Resources
Tom Morton joined Lantronix in September 2011. Prior to Lantronix, he spent two years as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Mindspeed Technologies (MSPD). He previously served as Mindspeed’s Vice President, Human Resources and also their Executive Director, Human Resources.
Morton has more than 30 years human resources experience in the technology industry, having held key HR positions at Cipher Data Products, Brooktree Corporation, Rockwell Semiconductor Systems and Conexant Systems, Inc.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University and graduated with honors.
Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Robert Robinson joined Lantronix in October 2011. As Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Robinson leads Lantronix’ global strategy and execution of worldwide sales, distribution and channel efforts. He brings more than 20 years’ experience, having previously served as Vice President of Enterprise Sales and Marketing for GlobalTRACK, a wireless M2M provider. He has also previously held Vice President of Sales and general management positions with Crossbow Technology (now a division of Moog), D-Link, Arrow Electronics and Ingram Micro.
Robinson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business and management from Pepperdine University.
|Michael A. Fink|
Vice President, Operations
Michael Fink joined Lantronix in February of 2012. As Vice President of Operations, Fink is tasked with managing the company’s world-wide customer support, manufacturing, and supply chain operations. Fink brings 20 years of experience as a global technology operations professional. He comes to Lantronix from Inphi Corporation, where he served as Director of Operations for Networking and Communication products. Prior to Inphi, Fink was Executive Director of Product and Test Engineering at Sierra Monolithics where he was responsible for directing the company’s back-end engineering and manufacturing operations. Fink also served at Mindspeed Technologies as Executive Director of Product and Test Engineering. He has also held management positions at Peregrine Semiconductor and Analog Devices in Boston, Massachusetts.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and completed graduate work at Northeastern University in Boston in the Digital Communications field.
Vice President, Worldwide Marketing
Mark Tullio joined Lantronix in May 2010 and most recently served as Senior Director of Marketing. In February 2012, he was appointed Vice President, Worldwide Marketing. In this role, he is tasked with driving the company’s global marketing strategy, branding, customer acquisition, public relations, and communications efforts. Tullio is a technology marketing executive with an MBA and over 20 years experience in all aspects of B2B and B2C marketing.
Prior to Lantronix, Tullio was most recently Vice President of Marketing for Kaplan, Inc. He has led the marketing, PR, and communications for three successful start-ups, purchased for over $200 million; and in addition to Kaplan, has held vice president and senior director level marketing positions for global leaders including Sage Software, NBC Universal, Cresenda Wireless and Ardent Software.
Mark received an MBA in marketing from Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, and Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Neuroscience Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
