(NASDAQ: DIET), a leading provider of convenient at-home diet, fitness and healthy lifestyle solutions, announced today that it has entered into a licensing agreement with NBC Universal Television Consumer Products Group and Reveille LLC to become the new provider for The Biggest Loser branded meals. eDiets meals designed for The Biggest Loser program will provide consumers the same nutrition and calories contestants are taught to eat while on the show, delivered directly to their door.
eDiets.com will be developing and launching a line of meals for home delivery branded The Biggest Loser Meal Plan -- by eDiets. The debut of eDiets' new line will launch on September 1, coinciding with the next season of NBC's "The Biggest Loser," which premieres on September 21. Similar to other eDiets product lines, consumers will be able to conveniently purchase the meals online and via the phone.
