| ARIAD to Present at the 28th Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference |

Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARIA) today announced that it will
present at the 28th Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference being held
at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco, California. Harvey J.
Berger, M.D., chairman and chief executive officer at ARIAD, will
provide an overview of the Company and its progress in key programs on
Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 7:30 a.m. (PT).
