PASADENA, Calif., March 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering
Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that they received a contract from the
Judicial Council of California, Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) to
provide indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity construction management
services throughout the California Superior Court System.
The contract is a critical part of the State of California's transfer of
450 court facilities from county to state ownership, pursuant to the Trial
Court Facilities Act of 2002 (SB 1732). Many of these existing facilities
require repair, modification, expansion, or replacement. The State has
identified nine urgently needed court projects estimated to cost $1.2 billion.
The long-term state-wide capital plan includes 181 court projects estimated to
cost $9 billion.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Warren Dean
