| Sears Canada Advised of a Potential Safety Hazard Relating to certain "Graco" Strollers and Travel Systems |

| TORONTO, Jan. 21, 2010 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) -- Sears Canada Inc. has been advised by Elfe Juvenile Products of a potential safety hazard relating to certain "Graco" Strollers and Travel Systems. It has been discovered that while opening or closing the canopy, the hinges on the stroller's canopy can pose a fingertip amputation and laceration hazard for infants and toddlers.
Some of the affected strollers were sold at Sears Canada retail stores, online at www.sears.ca and through the Sears Canada catalogue between October 2004 and December 2009. The Sears regular selling price was $99.99 - $319.99. The affected model numbers and corresponding Sears item numbers are as follows:

The manufacture date and model number is located on the lower inside portion of the rear frame, just above the rear wheels. The corresponding Sears item number can be found on your sales receipt. Neither Health Canada nor Elfe Juvenile Products has received reports of incidents or injuries relating to the use of this product. In the interest of consumer safety, Sears Canada urges customers to use caution when opening or closing the stroller and ensure that children are at a safe distance when doing so. Sears customers should not return their strollers, but should contact Elfe Juvenile Products at (1-800-667-8184) to receive a free protective cover repair kit.
