| Safety Advisory - Kenmore Gas Grills |

| TORONTO, Jul 30, 2009 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) -- Sears Canada has been advised by Fiesta Gas Grills LLC of a potential safety hazard relating to certain Kenmore Gas Grills. It has been discovered that if the barbeque grill is not assembled properly, the burner hose may be exposed to excessive heat, posing a fire and burn hazard.
The affected products were sold at Sears Canada retail stores as well as through the Sears Canada catalogue between March 2007 and December 2007. The affected model numbers and corresponding Sears item numbers are as follows.

The affected model numbers can be located on a rating plate on the rear of the grill and the Sears item number is printed on the sales receipt Neither Sears Canada nor Health Canada have received reports of injuries or incidents related to the use of these barbeques. In the interest of consumer safety, Sears Canada urges customers who own the affected gas grill to cease use immediately and contact Fiesta at 1-866-956-0396, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM ET., for information on how to obtain a free grease pan assembly and instructions for installing the parts. Sears Canada will be posting signs in all of its retail stores to advise customers of this safety advisory.
