| Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity - Sears invites Canadians to sign giant Christmas card for military serving overseas |
TORONTO, Dec. 6, 2007 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX News Network) -- Sears Canada and the Canadian Forces Personnel Support Agency (CFPSA) invite the media to the national roll-out of the 2007 giant greeting card tour for military serving overseas. The card tour is part of Operation Wish an annual holiday initiative that lets troops stationed abroad stay connected with their families back home. As part of this initiative Sears is inviting Canadians into their stores to sign one of 23 giant 4'x5' greeting cards that will be touring Sears stores coast to coast beginning today through to Christmas Eve.

Executive Director of The Military Family Resource Centre of
Toronto and a military wife whose husband is serving in
Afghanistan and her infant son will be on hand to officially
launch Operation Wish 2007 and unveil the giant 4' x 5'
greeting card. Sears associates, customers and members of the
community will be among the first to send their wishes to
troops overseas.
