OWENSBORO, Ky., May 10, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Officials from Freddie Mac will be in Owensboro, Ky. on Thursday, May 13 to honor employees at the U.S. Bank Home Mortgage Servicing Center at 4801 Frederica Street in Owensboro for the company's ranking as a Freddie Mac Tier One Mortgage Servicer.

The honor, which was announced by Freddie Mac in February, recognizes U.S. Bank Home Mortgage for superior investor reporting and default management during 2003. Tier One servicers have "superior results" helping delinquent borrowers overcome short-term financial difficulties and avoid foreclosure, thereby minimizing credit losses.
