LAS VEGAS, Aug 4, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Nine Las Vegas area organizations recently received grants from the U.S. Bancorp Foundation.

    The grants, totaling $61,700 were awarded to:

    --  Junior Achievement of Las Vegas to provide operational
        support;

    --  Sunrise Children's Hospital Foundation to support the "Baby?
        Think It Over!!!" program;

    --  International House of Blues to support the Blues SchoolHouse
        programming;

    --  Classroom on Wheels to provide operational support;

    --  Nevada Ballet Theatre to support statewide programming;

    --  United Way of Southern Nevada to support operational expenses;

    --  Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas to support the building of one
        house;

    --  Women's Development Center to support "Homeward Bound", the
        homebuyers assistance program; and

    --  Global Property Management Group to provide operational
        support.
