services,* announced today that Brian Vowinkel has been appointed
regional managing director for Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S.
Bank in Seattle. He reports to Michael A. Cole, president of Ascent
Private Capital Management.

ultra high net worth families and family-held businesses makes him

In his new role, Vowinkel is responsible for driving the growth of
Ascent Private Capital Management's new office in Seattle, which will
open this summer. He leads an initial team of seven professionals
responsible for providing ultra high net worth clients with investment
management, private banking, wealth impact planning, financial
administration and an exceptional client experience in the Pacific
Northwest.
Vowinkel brings more than 13 years of experience in assisting ultra high
net worth families with wealth management. He previously headed his own
wealth management firm in Seattle, Ranger Select. Prior to that, he
opened the regional office in Seattle for Convergent Wealth Advisors,
where he was an equity partner and served as regional managing director.
He also previously helped open the Seattle office of Goldman Sachs & Co.
for private clients. Vowinkel has also served as a major in the U.S.
Army (active and reserve) for 15 years. He has a bachelor of science
degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point with a dual major in
engineering and history and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
Vowinkel is active in his community, serving as a board member of the
USO of Puget Sound, a board member of Gen-Next of Seattle, as well as an
Eagle Scout mentor for the Seattle Council.
