U.S. Bancorp Foundation Awards Grants to Twin Cities Artistic and Cultural Organizations

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 2, 2007--Thirteen nonprofit organizations in the Twin Cities have been awarded more than $325,000 in grants by the U.S. Bancorp Foundation. Elliot Jaffee, president for U.S. Bank in the Twin Cites metro market, announced the artistic and cultural grants.

"These organizations enrich our community and make it a more creative and interesting place to live and work," said Jaffee.

The U.S. Bancorp Foundation provided grants to the following nonprofit groups:

  • Children's Theatre Company and School

  • COMPAS, Inc.

  • Guthrie Theater Foundation

  • Jungle Theater

  • MacPhail Center for Music

  • Minneapolis Institute of Arts

  • Minnesota Children's Museum

  • Minnesota Opera Company

  • Minnesota Orchestral Association

  • Minnesota Public Radio

  • Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra

  • Twin Cities Public Television

  • Walker Art Center
