U.S. Bank PowerTrack and Schneider Logistics Discuss State of Transportation at 7th Annual Financial Supply Chain Conference

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 9, 2007--PowerTrack, the payment outsourcing solution from U.S. Bank, will join forces with Schneider Logistics, Inc., an international lead logistics provider and part of the Schneider National enterprise, to host a "State of the Transportation Industry" forum at the upcoming U.S. Bank Financial Supply Chain Conference March 20-22 in Dallas.

The session will take place on Tuesday, March 20. PowerTrack and Schneider Logistics executives will examine recent trends faced by companies managing their supply chains, such as managing overall costs, transportation infrastructure, driver shortages, regulatory impacts for 2007 and rate expectations by mode for 2007. Schneider Logistics brings decades of network optimization experience to this informative session. In addition to the "State of the Transportation Industry," Schneider Logistics will also present a session on supply chain analysis from a third-party logistics (3PL) perspective.

"U.S. Bank and Schneider Logistics have formed a formidable alliance to capture, analyze, and interpret leading financial indicators, transportation trends, and supply chain analytics as they relate to expanding geographies and services in the global marketplace," said Rick Langer, senior vice president and general manager for PowerTrack.

"This powerful combination will deliver broader services currently not seen in the transportation and logistics industry. Combining PowerTrack's world class financial expertise with Schneider's extensive transportation knowledge and supply chain expertise will continue to bring value to all of our customers," Langer said. U.S. Bank acquired Schneider Payment Services, a division of Schneider International, in June 2006, which made PowerTrack the largest freight payment provider in the United States.
