U.S. Bancorp to Participate in the Merrill Lynch Chief Credit Officers' Forum

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 13, 2006--U.S. Bancorp (NYSE:USB) announced today that Michael J. Doyle, executive vice president and chief credit officer, is scheduled to participate in the Merrill Lynch Chief Credit Officers' Forum. Mr. Doyle's panel discussion is scheduled to begin at 11:10 a.m. EDT on Friday, September 15, 2006.
