Support for Waterfowl Conservation Takes Flight With New Credit Card From U.S. Bank

MINNEAPOLIS & EDGEFELD, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 21, 2005--More than 60,000 conservationists who work to protect the natural habitat of our waterfowl resource now have a new source of support through the Waterfowl U.S.A. Visa(R) credit card from U.S. Bank. The card generates support for the association each time a new card is activated and repeatedly thereafter each time the card is used.

"Our goal is to preserve and improve wintering and breeding habitat within the United States, and now everyone who shares our vision can participate in protecting this precious resource," said Roger White, president and chief executive officer of Waterfowl U.S.A.

The Waterfowl U.S.A. Visa credit card carries the organization's logo and depicts two ducks about to make a water landing. The card holder enjoys benefits including no annual fee, a low introductory rate (APR) and a choice of rewards including cash back or points redeemable for merchandise, travel, gift certificates or virtually any reward with the Choose Your Own Reward option.

"We are proud to support the mission of Waterfowl U.S.A. with a card that gives members the rewards they choose while supporting the organization with each purchase," said Tanya Turner, senior vice president of affinity products at U.S. Bank. "We look forward to a long and rewarding relationship for Waterfowl U.S.A. and its members."

Waterfowl U.S.A. was founded in January 1983 as the only national non-profit, conservation organization, dedicated to using funds in the areas in which they are raised for local and state waterfowl projects. It was founded by biologists for the purpose of preserving and improving wintering and breeding habitat within the United States. There was, and still is, a tremendous need to fund waterfowl projects on the local level. Therefore, local and state fund-raising chapters are being organized to lead the way in restoring waterfowl enjoyment. Today, there are more than 63,000 members of Waterfowl U.S.A.
