recognize the second round recipients of the U.S. Bank Five Star
Volunteer Award program, which honors employees for their exceptional
volunteer service. On behalf of the recipients, the bank will
contribute $114,000 in $1,000 awards to 114 organizations. U.S. Bank
has donated a total of $240,000 through the Five Star Volunteer Award
Program in 2005.

The second round of U.S. Bank Five Star Volunteer Awards will be
presented in 25 states and the District of Columbia. Nominations are
being accepted for the first round of awards for 2006 and may be made
by an employee or by a nonprofit organization. The deadline for the
first round of 2006 nominations is April 15, 2006. Winners will be
