Colorado State University Alumni Get Chance to Support the Rams with New U.S. Bank Credit Card

MINNEAPOLIS & FORT COLLINS, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 3, 2005--Colorado State University (CSU) has partnered with U.S. Bank to introduce the Colorado State University Visa(R) Platinum Card. The card generates support for the organization each time a new card is activated and repeatedly thereafter each time the card is used.

"We are delighted to partner with U.S. Bank to offer our alumni, friends and members of the campus community the opportunity to showcase their CSU pride," said Marc Shkolnick, executive director of Alumni Relations. "The support generated from this card will sustain programs to keep alumni and friends informed and engaged with CSU and develop lifelong relationships with current students, the university's future trustees and stewards."

With three card options depicting various CSU logos and the Colorado State University Administration Building, cardholders may choose the standard Visa Platinum Card, or one of three rewards programs including the Travel Rewards Visa Platinum Card, Cash Rewards Visa Platinum Card or Select Rewards Visa Platinum Card.

"In addition to offering excellent rewards to card holders, the Colorado State University Visa(R) Platinum Card will benefit CSU students and graduates with every use," said Tanya Turner, senior vice president of affinity products at U.S. Bank. "It is a very convenient way for supporters to give back to the university."

The Colorado State University Alumni Association is committed to advancing the university by developing and strengthening lifelong relationships between alumni and the university community, by benefiting current and future alumni and friends, and by serving as a catalyst for communications and involvement.
