U.S. Bancorp Third Quarter Earnings Release Set for Tuesday, October 18, 2005

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 7, 2005--U.S. Bancorp (NYSE:USB) will release its third quarter 2005 earnings before the market opens on Tuesday, October 18, 2005. Jerry A. Grundhofer, chairman and chief executive officer, and David M. Moffett, vice chairman and chief financial officer, will review the results in a pre-recorded call.
