(NYSE:USB) announced it has raised its prime lending rate to 6.75
percent from 6.50 percent, effective today, Tuesday, September 20,
2005, at all U.S. Bank locations.
U.S. Bancorp last announced a change in its prime lending rate on
August 9, 2005, when it was increased 25 basis points to 6.50 percent.
