Museum of Northern Nevada now has a unique way to educate children
about banking, with the new U.S. Bank/Langson Financial Center. The
new center is a permanent exhibit where children will be able to fill
out checks and deposit slips, open safe deposit boxes, distribute play
money from behind a teller window and measure their height in dollars
and cents.
Attendees at the ribbon-cutting event included Carson City Mayor
Marv Teixeira, Julie Langson-Cowan and Gladys Langson-Veitch of the
Langson Family Foundation, Ken Beaton, executive director of the
Children's Museum, Ingrid Robinson, U.S. Bank branch manager in Carson
City and Doreen Davis, U.S. Bank community development manager.
