U.S. Bank Opens Coeur d'Alene Service Center

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 21, 2005--U.S. Bank is staffed and ready to open the doors to the U.S. Bank Service Center in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, just one year after it announced plans to build the 60,000-square-foot facility. The grand opening will take place on Tuesday, June 21 at 10 a.m., 3700 W. Seltice Way in Coeur d'Alene.

The more than 100 employees moved into the center in early June. Ultimately, the center will employ 500. Service center employees support U.S. Bank's growing retail payment solutions division, which includes debit, small business and consumer credit card accounts. U.S. Bank Retail Payment Solutions now has two major service centers to help customers, one in Coeur d'Alene and one in Fargo, N.D.

The U.S. Bank Service Center in Coeur d'Alene represents a $15 million commitment by U.S. Bank to the Coeur d'Alene community. Once fully staffed, U.S. Bank will employ 500 people at the service center, in addition to its current employee base of 900 across Idaho. U.S. Bank operates 90 full service branches in the state, in addition to its new service center.
