New Yellowstone Park Foundation Credit Card Options Available from U.S. Bank

MINNEAPOLIS & BOZEMAN, Mont., Jun 13, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Yellowstone Park Foundation has expanded its affinity credit card partnership with U.S. Bank. The new Visa(R) card options will give individuals who support Yellowstone National Park additional opportunities to help preserve and protect the park. Every new card activation and a share of every purchase made with the card will go to support the Yellowstone Park Foundation.

The new Visa cards feature images of the natural beauty that encompasses Yellowstone National Park. Supporters of the foundation will have access to three credit card products from U.S. Bank including a card that earns reward points that can be redeemed for gift certificates, merchandise and travel rewards, and another that provides cash back on purchases.

In addition to the three credit cards available, individuals now have access to a Yellowstone Park Foundation Visa Check Card. Holders of the new check card will be able to make payments directly from their U.S. Bank checking accounts.

"With its striking geyser image, the Yellowstone check card reminds its holders of Yellowstone's uniqueness. Each card transaction supports the unending work of preserving of such an important place," said Michael S. Cary, executive director of the Yellowstone Park Foundation.

"Our renewed relationship with the Yellowstone Park Foundation will immediately benefit the mission of the organization," said Tanya Turner, senior vice president of affinity products at U.S. Bank. "We are pleased to be able to offer more card options to supporters of the preservation of Yellowstone National Park."

The Yellowstone Park Foundation is a non-profit organization created in 1996. A group of concerned citizens, working with the National Park Service, started the Foundation in order to protect, preserve and enhance Yellowstone National Park. The Yellowstone Park Foundation funds projects and programs that protect the wonders and wildlife of Yellowstone National Park.
