U.S. Bancorp to Present at the Lehman Brothers Eighth Annual 2005 Financial Services Conference

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 2005--U.S. Bancorp (NYSE:USB) announced today that Jerry A. Grundhofer, chairman and CEO, is scheduled to present at the Lehman Brothers Eighth Annual 2005 Financial Services Conference in London, England. The luncheon presentation will begin at approximately 12:30 p.m. (London time) on Thursday, May 12, 2005. The presentation will include information about U.S. Bancorp's financial performance and corporate strategies.

A live audio-webcast of the presentation will be available through U.S. Bancorp's website at usbank.com.
