U.S. Bank Relocates from Wrigley Office to Crain's Building; Holds Grand Opening Celebration Through May 6

CHICAGO, May 03, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- U.S. Bank is holding a grand opening celebration through May 6 of its new, full-service office in the Crain's Communication building at 360 North Michigan Avenue. This U.S. Bank River branch has relocated from its former location in the Wrigley Building. Light refreshments will be served during the week-long celebration and all who open a new checking account will receive two tickets to Ravinia, an outdoor summer concert venue in the northern suburbs of Highland Park. In addition, a drawing will be held for a chance to win a two-night stay at the Hard Rock Hotel in downtown Chicago with a gift certificate to the China Grill restaurant in the hotel. Entrants do not need to be a new or existing U.S. Bank customer.

Denise Zajac, U.S. Bank Chicago district manager said, "We are really excited to be opening this street-level branch that includes a Michigan Avenue vestibule with a Super ATM that sells postage stamps and phone cards in addition to handling banking transactions."

The U.S. Bank Crain's office will be managed by Alejandro Abraham. At the new branch, customers can open checking accounts with free Internet bill pay, and conveniently transact business on savings, CDs, IRAs and other investment opportunities, or get a loan for a car, boat, home improvement or debt consolidation. Zajac said that customers who take advantage of U.S. Bank products and services can also take comfort in knowing that U.S. Bank is home of the exclusive Five Star Service Guarantee, meaning business will be efficient and accurate or the bank will pay customers $5.

The hours of the new U.S. Bank office are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Customers also have access to services 24-hours a day through ATM, telephone or Internet banking.

U.S. Bank also has offices downtown at 30 North Michigan and in the Rookery Building at 209 S. LaSalle, where it moved its regional headquarters last October. It has a total of 52 retail locations throughout the Chicago area, including seven branches located inside Meijer stores in the western Chicago suburbs.
