NOVA Secures Multi-Year Extension of Regions Card Processing Alliance

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 23, 2005--

NOVA to Continue to Provide Payment Processing Services to
Regions Bank and Union Planters Bank Merchants

NOVA Information Systems (NOVA) today announced it has extended its marketing alliance agreement with Alabama-based Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE:RF) for its merchant referral business marketed through Regions Bank and Union Planters Bank offices.

NOVA will continue to provide processing services, customer service and support operations to Regions' existing merchant client base, which represents more than $2.3 billion in processing volume. New merchant services referrals will be marketed through Regions' bank branch system of 1,400 locations in 15 states throughout the South, Midwest and Texas.
