U.S. Bank Named Vendor of the Year by Missouri Auto Group

JOPLIN, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 2, 2005--The Continental Auto Group, based in Joplin, Mo., has named U.S. Bank Vendor of the Year for 2004. The group recognized U.S. Bank for its service and pricing, all of which have contributed to Continental's success in 2004.

Frank Reahr, a 33-year employee of U.S. Bank, is the relationship manager for Continental and accepted the award on behalf of U.S. Bank at Continental's employee recognition banquet on Saturday, Jan. 22. Reahr is part of the U.S. Bank Dealer Commercial Services group, Midwest region, and is based in St. Louis. He covers Missouri, Kansas, central and southern Illinois, Nebraska and northwest Arkansas.

Continental has been a customer of U.S. Bank since 1999. It operates five stores Joplin Ford and Continental Chrysler in Joplin, Mo., Neosho Ford and Neosho Chrysler in Neosho, Mo. and Aurora Chrysler. U.S. Bank recently implemented a 401(k) program for Continental employees at all stores effective on Jan. 1, 2005. They also chose U.S. Bank for their merchant card program.
