U.S. Bank Named `Top Supplier' by Leading Software Provider

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 18, 2005--U.S. Bancorp (NYSE:USB)

Autodesk, Inc., the world's leading design software and digital content company, recently named U.S. Bank Corporate Payment Systems "Supplier-of-the-Year" for 2004 at its annual company Supplier Day. U.S. Bank was singled out by Autodesk for its exceptional purchasing card product and service and beat out a bevy of well-known industrial providers of such things as computers and computer peripherals, airline travel and overnight shipment services.

In naming U.S. Bank its top supplier, Autodesk identified the company's ability to help the company align with the CEO's direction and achieve its corporate goal of improving its margins. The Autodesk purchasing card program has been such a success that U.S. Bank was also recently awarded the company's corporate travel card business.
