U.S. Bank Welcomes Customers to New Oakland Kaiser Center Location

OAKLAND, Calif., Jul 27, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- U.S. Bank has opened a new branch at the Kaiser Center at 344 20th Street in Oakland, Calif., the first U.S. Bank office in Oakland. To celebrate, employees will hold customer appreciation activities August 2-6 with free refreshments and snack for anyone who stops by that week, and two free vouchers to an A's game for anyone who opens a checking account.

The customer appreciation week, with the theme "Take Me Out to U.S. Bank," will celebrate baseball and the "U.S. Bank Oakland A's Back-to-Back Cash Back" in which individuals can win $5,000 if the A's hit back-to-back home runs in the sixth inning. U.S. Bank will be on-site at the A's game on Tuesday, July 27 along with 100 kids from the Youth Entertainment Network who will take in the game compliments of U.S. Bank.

Mid-way through the week-long celebration, on August 4, the Oakland Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting at the Kaiser Center U.S. Bank office. Snacks and prizes will be given away throughout the grand opening. Guests may also enter to win four VIP tickets to see the Oakland A's and an autographed baseball, a $100 Visa gift card, a $50 Visa gift card or a U.S. Bank sports bag.
