MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 14, 2004--Take me out to the
ballgame never sounded like so much fun for more than 650 Hispanic
Little Leaguers.
With the help of U.S. Bank and the Milwaukee Brewers, the Felix
Mantilla Hispanic Community Little League children and their parents
will be able to attend U.S. Bank's fifth annual baseball clinic for
free. The clinic will be held on Friday, June 18, from 11:00 a.m.
until 3:00 p.m. at Baran Park at 10th and Chase. Mantilla, a former
major leaguer, now resides in Milwaukee.
Several Brewers players will be on hand to give tips to future all
stars, in addition to signing autographs. Prizes will be given away at
the clinic, including 300 tickets to that night's Brewers game.
Parents can also sign up at the clinic for financial literacy classes
being offered by U.S. Bank from July through December.
Eugene Manzanet, U.S. Bank Hispanic marketing coordinator, said,
"We are extremely committed to Milwaukee's Hispanic community and hope
through doing this fun event for the kids we can reach their parents
with information that we are offering on budgeting and basic banking
skills."
