U.S. Bank Promotes Twin Cities Native to Lead Branch Network in Headquarters Market

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb 27, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Christine Hobrough has been named regional manager in charge of all 71 U.S. Bank branches in the U.S. Bank headquarters Twin Cities market. Hobrough succeeds Kurt Treu, who was promoted to the position of market president in Cleveland.

Hobrough has been with U.S. Bank for 21 years, starting as a teller in St. Paul when the company was First Bank System. During her tenure, Hobrough has held positions in information systems, consumer lending as well as numerous branch manager assignments. She has held market and district manager positions with the bank in Denver, Chicago, Milwaukee and most recently in the Twin Cities, where she oversaw 17 branches in the northeast metropolitan area.

Hobrough earned her bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Minnesota, and is in the process of completing her master's degree in finance from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. She serves on the board of the Minnesota Children's Museum. Hobrough and her family live in Stillwater, Minn.
