BOISE, Idaho, Feb 11, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- U.S. Bank today announced that Mike Shannahan, president and owner of Boise Office Equipment, has been named to the U.S. Bank advisory board of directors in Western Idaho. Jim Grigsby, president of U.S. Bank in Idaho, made the announcement earlier this month.

"We're excited and honored to have Mike join the team," said Grigsby. "Mike's unique breadth of experience and his well-earned reputation as a businessman make him the perfect new addition to our advisory board."

Added Shannahan, "I have been particularly impressed with the dedication to customer service shown by Jim and his team. I look forward to helping U.S. Bank reach its full potential in our community."

Shannahan began his career in office products in 1984 with Words Northwest/San Sierra, which eventually became part of Ikon. In 1988, Shannahan became the Western Area Representative for Sharp Electronics.
