U.S. Bank to Open Corporate Branch at Nissan Manufacturing Facility

DECHERD, Tenn., Feb 3, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- U.S. Bank will open a branch office to serve the 1,200 employees in the Nissan powertrain assembly plant located at 520 Warren Chapel Road in Decherd, Tenn. The new branch is scheduled to open on Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, in a central location within the manufacturing facility. Grand opening festivities begin Monday, Feb. 9 and run through Friday, Feb. 13.

"Nissan has created a very nice working environment for their employees and we're proud to be a part of their facility," said Bill Yoder, district manager for U.S. Bank. "We've staffed the branch with top-notch talent to assist Nissan's Decherd employees with a full suite of U.S. Bank products and services and we're confident many employees will find them beneficial."

The branch will be open to Nissan employees Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. (closed Saturday and Sunday). Bank customers will have a full range of services at their disposal, from checking and savings to investment, mortgage and small business services.

This is the second branch that U.S. Bank has opened at a corporate site in Tennessee. It is common practice for the bank to place branch offices in non-traditional locations, such as corporate headquarters, university campuses and grocery stores. Currently, U.S. Bank has a branch presence at Dell Computers in Tennessee; Procter & Gamble in Ohio; Maritz in Missouri; Owensboro Mercy Health System and Churchill Downs in Kentucky; Aegon Insurance in Iowa; and Best Buy in Minnesota.
