SALT LAKE CITY, Jan 5, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Thirteen nonprofit organizations
in Utah were recently awarded more than $42,000 in grants by the U.S. Bancorp
(NYSE:USB) Foundation. Damon Miller, president of U.S. Bank in Utah, announced
the grants for artistic and cultural enrichment, economic opportunity, K-12
education and United Way.

U.S. Bank awarded grants to the following nonprofits:
-- Draper Historic Theatre - to assist with general operating
-- Ogden City School District - to help fund its after school
-- Salt Lake Neighboring Housing Services - to support its
affordable housing projects;
-- SCORE - to help cover general operating expenses;
-- Scottish Rite Children's Learning Center - for its Opening
-- Thanksgiving Point - to help finance the Fork to Farm project;
-- United Way of Davis County - for its annual campaign;
-- United Way of Dixie - to support the annual campaign;
-- United Way of Northern Utah - for the annual campaign;
-- United Way of Salt Lake - to assist with its annual campaign;
-- United Way of Utah County - to support the annual campaign;
-- Women's Business Center - to help with general operating
-- YMCA - for its Study Buddies Math Club.
