MINNEAPOLIS, Nov 14, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- To help Minnesota's nonprofit
sector address the turbulent changes caused by funding cuts and increased needs
for service, U.S. Bancorp is hosting a half-day conference for a convened group
of nonprofit and community leaders.
U.S. Bancorp has invited all Minnesota nonprofit executives and trustees to
gather at the Minneapolis Convention Center Tuesday, Nov. 18 for the conference
"Leading in Times of Dramatic Change." The conference is funded by U.S. Bancorp
with co-sponsorship by MAP for Nonprofits, The Minneapolis Foundation, Minnesota
Community Foundation, Minnesota Council of Nonprofits and The Saint Paul
Foundation. It is being provided at no cost to attendees as a service to the

The half-day conference will feature futurist and author Carolyn Corbin. Corbin,

Following Corbin's keynote address, local leaders will bring a Minnesota
perspective to trends and changes affecting the community. The seminar concludes
with leading Minnesota experts and interactive small groups that will tackle the
