U.S. Bank in Portland Donates Former Branch Space to Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber Through Lease Date of July 2005

PORTLAND, Ore., Sep 9, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- U.S. Bancorp (NYSE:USB)

U.S. Bank has donated space at 12th and Morrison in Portland to the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber (Hispanic Chamber) for two years, the duration of its lease, which expires in July 2005. A ribbon cutting will be held today (Tuesday, Sept. 9) at 2 p.m. at the 1220 S.W. Morrison location.

The ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration mark the kick-off day for the chamber's Hispanic Heritage Month festivities. Hispanic Heritage Month is September 15 through October 15. U.S. Bank is a proud sponsor of Hispanic Heritage Month festivities in Portland and nationwide.

"We're always looking for opportunities to truly give where it's needed, and this opportunity was a perfect match," said Tina Foster, region manger for U.S. Bank Metropolitan Banking in Portland. "The chamber was looking for new office space so we thought there was no better way to support their efforts than to help them meet that need free of charge."
