MINNEAPOLIS, Jul 11, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- U.S. Bank is proud to participate
in the Minneapolis Aquatennial by sponsoring the U.S. Bank Grande Day Parade.
The parade will take place along Hennepin Avenue from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on
Saturday, July 19. It will travel down Hennepin Avenue for 1.5 miles from the
Basilica of St. Mary near Dunwoody Boulevard to the end at Marquette Avenue and
The theme of this year's parade is "A Community MOSAIC." U.S. Bank is also a
sponsor of Minneapolis MOSAIC, a celebration of the city's unique diversity and
cultural heritage. The Grande Day Parade will feature hundreds of participants,
including marching bands, floats, Aquatennial Ambassadors past and present,
community VIPs and more. In addition, U.S. Bank employees will participate in
the parade and serve as volunteers.
