MINNEAPOLIS, Jun 12, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Back by popular demand, U.S. Bank
has resumed its offer of zero percent interest for six months as an introductory
rate on its credit cards. The offer was first introduced in January, and the
two-month promotion was met with great appeal.
The offer is an effort to encourage consumers to become new U.S. Bank customers
and enjoy the lowest rate ever offered on balance transfers and new purchases.
The zero percent introductory rate is available to customers opening a new U.S.
Bank Platinum, Platinum Travel, Classic, Private Client Group Platinum and
Platinum Travel and Cash Rewards Visa(R) Credit Cards.
The U.S. Bank Cash Rewards Visa, introduced in November, gives users up to one
percent cash back on purchases made with the card, similar to the U.S. Bank
Checking That Pays program that offers a cash reward for using the U.S. Bank
Visa Check Card instead of cash or checks.
Individuals can apply on the Internet at usbank.com or by visiting a U.S. Bank
