U.S. Bancorp to Participate in Conference Call Hosted by Goldman Sachs

MINNEAPOLIS, May 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/-- U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB) announced today that Jerry A. Grundhofer, chairman, president and chief executive officer, is scheduled to participate in a conference call hosted by Goldman Sachs. The conference call is scheduled for Friday, May 16, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. (EDT). The conference call will be available by phone or on the Internet.
