LOS ANGELES, Feb 4, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- U.S. Bank in Baldwin Hills will celebrate the grand opening of the branch office and unveil the art wall in the branch, which will display works by youth artists from the David G. Brown Studio in Los Angeles. The grand opening festivities take place Saturday, Feb. 8 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the branch at 3605 South LaBrea Avenue in Los Angeles.

Nine local artists have their work on display at the new U.S. Bank branch in Baldwin Hills. They participated in workshops through David G. Brown Studios at Watts Tower, the Los Angeles Public Library and Canoga Park. The images reflect the talents of some of our very young artists in the community, as they salute famous jazz musicians with their artistic visions.

The celebration will include an appearance by KJLH 102.5 FM on location, performances by the high school band, Baldwin Hills Elementary School dance and drill teams, a moon walk jumping tent for kids, games, prizes, balloons and giveaways.

The Baldwin Hills location is the third newly constructed bank office that U.S. Bank has opened in Los Angeles in the last two years. In May 2001, it opened a new office in Boyle Heights and another at the intersection of Slauson and Crenshaw.
