U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray Sponsors Butte Symphony Orchestra

BUTTE, Mont., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray (Piper Jaffray) is proud to be a corporate sponsor of the Butte Symphony Orchestra.  Consistent with the firm's Guiding Principles, this is the most recent example of Piper Jaffray's commitment to contributing to the communities, in which its employees and clients live and work.

The Butte Symphony is an all volunteer orchestra and chorale and is the longest running symphony in Montana.  The season opening concert will include special guest conductor William Kirschke, who previously helped found and conducted the Santa Fe Symphony for 20 years.  The Symphony convenes its 53rd season on Saturday, October 12, 2002 at 7:30 p.m. at the Motherlode Theatre in Butte, Mont.

The Butte Symphony Orchestra and Chorale provide access to classical music in Butte and the surrounding communities through concerts, public forums, performances for the youth, school presentations, and rural outreach.
