U.S. Bancorp Revises Time of July 16th Earnings Conference Call

MINNEAPOLIS, July 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB)
today announced that the second quarter earnings conference call, hosted byU.S. Bancorp's Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer David M. Moffett, hasbeen re-scheduled to 2:00 p.m. (CDT) on Tuesday, July 16, 2002, one hour laterthan previously announced.  The time was changed to better accommodate theinvestment community.  The conference call will be available by telephone oron the Internet.
