U.S. Bank and Sport Chalet Bring More Rewards to Customers with the Sport Chalet Visa Card

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 15, 2012-- U.S. Bank and Sport Chalet have enhanced the Sport Chalet Visa® rewards program by combining it with Action Pass™, Sport Chalet’s loyalty program. Sport Chalet customers now have the opportunity to earn more than 6 percent in rewards at Sport Chalet and 2 percent in rewards everywhere else. In addition, the rewards program will now have rewards fulfilled through Action Pass™, making it easier for cardholders to redeem their points.

“We are excited to re-launch the Sport Chalet Visa rewards program offering enhanced points earning opportunities to Sport Chalet customers and a fresh new look,” said John Owens, senior vice president of co-branded cards at U.S. Bank. “We are pleased to partner with a great retailer like Sport Chalet to bring such a valuable program to market."

The Sport Chalet credit card offers comprehensive benefits such as preferred access to entertainment, sporting and dining events, complimentary 24-hour concierge service, and more. Sport Chalet Visa cardholders earn points each time they use the card to make purchases at Sport Chalet stores, and on Visa purchases everywhere else, for items like food, gas and monthly bills.

“We are pleased to offer the new and improved Sport Chalet Visa rewards program to our customers. Now combined with Action Pass™, it will provide greater value and simplify the redemption process for our cardholders,” said Craig Levra, chairman and chief executive officer at Sport Chalet.
